The American Rancher, hosted by Pam Minick, is entering its fourth year of broadcasting on RFD-TV. The series began in the fall of 2004 and brings audiences in touch with the people and places that make ranching an American lifestyle.
The American Rancher is a half-hour television series that now reaches an audience upwards of 30 million viewers through RFD-TV. The American Rancher is produced through a magazine, and sometimes an infomercial, type format that features livestock producers, their ranches, livestock and ranching practices along with occasional personalities as primary show guests or program topics. Over the past year, the show has also included livestock industry reports that have covered stories and interviewed persons that carry interest within farming/ranching circles. Alongside the primary show guest, the show includes a segment designed for young people called The Young American Rancher. This segment also runs 2-3 minutes and profiles youth ages 5-21 that are involved with FFA, 4H, Rodeo or their family operation.
Pam Minick continues as the show host of The American Rancher.
