Originally from Rock Hill, S.C., six-time NFR qualifier Luke Brown currently lives in Stephenville, Texas, with wife, Lacy, and daughter, Libby.
At age 39, Brown is a career earner of over $1 million. The former high school all-around champion topped the 2013 NFR aggregate heading for Martin Lucero, a title the team also earned in 2010.
The 2008 Pendleton Round-Up Champion Header lists his pastimes outside the arena as fishing, reading the Bible, and listening to music. Among the most influential team roping mentors Brown has had are four-time world champion team roper Allen Bach, with whom he partnered for a period in 2007, as well as Jake Barnes, Speed Williams, and Chad Masters.
