Lawmakers have just purposed the Serving Rural America Act. This bill states that the FCC will allow for $100 million dollars to be put to expand connectivity in rural communities. The issue with poor internet access is so serious, one cosponsor of this bill stated that if the problem is not rectified, people will leave rural America.
