The overnight high on the January contract went well past the $12 dollar mark, and they continue to surge ahead this morning to twelve and eleven and a half.
That is 10.25 higher, but that means that there was no overnight export sales this morning.
Meanwhile, corn is flying off the shelves.
Total sales yet to be shipped and those which have already been delivered are up more than 240 percent over the last marketing year.
Driving the increase is better sales to the top five buyers, including China. Corn sales to the Asian nation alone, are up more than 19,500 percent.
