The ag sector has continued to express concern over what will happen to the Waters of the U.S. rule, or WOTUS.
Senator Chuck Grassley says that it looks like the new administration is par with making changes to the Trump rollbacks.
“I am anticipating that they are going to do something in that area,” the Senator states. “I don’t think they’re going to be able to do it overnight. It’ll take several months because it just took several months for the Trump administration to delete it, put something in its place.”
Sen. Grassley says that he does believe the ag industry is in good hands with the EPA Administrator nominee Michael Regan. His confirmation process starts this afternoon.
