In Wisconsin, hunting groups have filed a lawsuit over the lack of a wolf hunting season.
They claim that the Department of Natural Resources violated state law after the gray wolf was delisted as endangered. Wisconsin law mandates that when the animal is not on the list a hunting season must happen from November through February.
The group says that wolves are a serious threat to dogs, cows, sheep, and other livestock.
So far, DNR has not responded to the lawsuit.
