With record breaking volume of sales, 2020 was a strong year for land, especially rural land traded for residential use.
A trend expected to continue through this year.
Jason Walter, the CEO of National Land Realty, speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on the trends in rural land investments, contributing factors, and his expectations going forward.
“Eighty-one percent of the population lives on three percent of the land in the U.S.; nineteen percent live on the other ninety-seven percent. So, if you just have a small shift, if you take just five percent of that population of the eighty-one percent-- that’s a massive impact on the rural markets,” Walter explains.
