Spring planting is well underway in parts of the country, and as you gear up your planters, we are bringing you updates from the field.
Dee River Ranch’s Annie Dee speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on current conditions in her area.
“We’re farming about 4,000 acres of row crops, some of that is irrigated. We’ve got about 3,000 acres of irrigation and so that helps us make it through some challenging times in the dry, hot summers... we have 37 acres of dry-land corn planted... we were expecting a lot of rain and more cold weather, so we put the planters back in the barn. So, we’re ready to go...,” Dee states.
