Colonial says that it is making progress and working around the clock to fully restore service.
Despite messages that there is still plenty of supply in distribution channels, panic buying ensued and many stations have temporarily run dry.
Collaborating with their shippers, the company says that it has delivered more than 40 million gallons of gas to various delivery points along the system. It is also committed to delivering an additional 84 million gallons once the pipeline restarts, hopefully by Friday.
