Bayer has lost a federal appeal over Monsanto’s Roundup weed killer.
The 9th Circuit Court upheld a $25 million dollar verdict against the company.
In its appeal, Bayer argued states lack the authority to deviate from federal herbicide regulations, and the verdict should be nullified because it was based on California law. Bayer previously said that it would spend $10 billion dollars to settle thousands of claims.
