Senator Roger Marshall from Kansas recently introduced the “30x30 Termination” Act, an attempt to block what he calls invasive actions by the Biden administration.
The Senator’s agriculture liaison explains their reasoning.
“We constantly talk about our farmers, our producers, our rancher out there that are the original environmentalist. They’re the ones out there taking care of the ground, and we’re concerned that, you know with this administration, they’re coming in here and essentially wanting to tell our producers how to farm, how to take care of their property, and we know and this is what Dr. Roger Marshall knows, working with him that our producers truly know the land better and they are there to take care of the land,” David Schemm explains.
He says that Sen. Marshall wants to preserve farmers’ ability to pass their land down to the next generation.
