Country legend Loretta Lynn dominated the music scene with her six-decade career. Hits such as “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” and “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’” helped her earn multiple gold albums.
Conway Twitty, a country music icon in his own right, was a frequent collaborator with Lynn. He not only dominated the country charts but also rock n roll and pop. One of his most legendary hits was “Hello Darlin’.”
These superstars would eventually team up on multiple occasions. The dynamic duo would become a country music “power couple,” even though they were just friends and musical partners. They released over ten albums together between 1970 and 1988. Some of their most legendary hits: “After the Fire is Gone,” “Lead Me On,” and “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.”
Their classic country hits are still living on however thanks to their grandchildren.
