Farm Rescue is celebrating a milestone, saying it has now offered help to 800 farms.
Volunteers are harvesting soybeans for a North Dakota couple. Eugene Birklid had his second brain surgery at the end of August. His wife, Katie, reached out to Farm Rescue and they delivered.
According to Katie, “I was very worried about how we were going to do harvest this fall, and my friends told me that I should apply for Farm Rescue. And, at first I was scared to ask for help because it’s hard for me to ask for help, but I just decided we need to do this and the process was easy, and so, it’s been a huge relief.”
Farm Rescue has operated for 15 years and now serves seven states.
