TFI offers insight into China’s fertilizer ban expansion

Concerns are on the rise following reports of China expanding its ban on fertilizer exports. The country issued changes in exports inspections for major types, including urea, nitrogen, and phosphate. Further tightening the supply chain.

It comes as U.S. farmers are already having issues finding inputs.

Economist Harry Vroomen with the Fertilizer Institute spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on the ban, ripple effects that could affect global supply, and what alternatives could alleviate these hurdles.
