Rep. Feenstra: farmers could be unfair target of social spending bill

Congress will now tackle the President’s massive social spending bill, and one House Ag Lawmaker fears a portion of it may target farmers.

Congressman Randy Feenstra is talking about the IRS taking a closer look at transactions from personal bank accounts. The Iowa Republican says that farmers have always done a good job of using the tax system to remain profitable.

However, he fears that the ag industry will become an unfair target, because farmers do not often rely on a payroll system.
