Chocolate production worldwide faces serious challenges. A University of Tennessee researcher is working to understand the pollination of chocolate, to preserve this critical area of farming. University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture’s Charles Denney reports.
Some research suggests improving the habitat for the midges could improve pollination. There are also artificial steps humans can take to aid in the pollination of these crops.
