The Public Lands Council is seeking proposals to address issues affecting cattle and sheep producers across the west.
PLC Executive Director, Kaitlynn Glover speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on carbon storage potential on public lands, proposals for livestock, and wildfire control.
According to Glover, “We know-- baseline-- that grazing is an immense tool to manage some of those fine fuels, those grasses, those really highly flammable forages that tend to build up when there is a lack of grazing activity... but what we are continuing to find is that grazing can be applied in a really targeted manner... to change fire pattern and behavior...”
