American Seed Trade Association’s Adam Lavigne expects the role of volunteer and working land conservation programs will continue to expand in the legislation.
According to Lavigne, “Through the practices of an interest in sustainability long-term, both from a growers standpoint and from a consumer’s standpoint.”
The development of carbon markets and increased funding for public private partnership programs could find their way into a new Farm Bill.
