The latest drought monitor was released today, but how does it compare to last week?
Heavy rain and flooding led to communication outages at the National Weather Service office, which left climatologists without full access to analyze the weather impact. However, we did still receive this drought monitor map.
This week, we are now able to see the full impact of those recent rains. Conditions improved significantly across parts of the south, and monsoons provided that much-needed rainfall, which greatly benefited farmers across the southwest, especially in Texas.
Tony St. James with All Ag All Day joined RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison to provide an update on conditions across the Lone Star state.
