Charles and Ellen Coblentz of Mayes County, Oklahoma, have a vertically integrated farm where they milk 400 head of Holstein cows twice a day, raise beef cattle, grow hay and other feed for both their herds, raise grain crops and operate an on-farm seed and fertilizer business near the northeast Oklahoma town of Chouteau.
The Coblentz family was recognized as Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s 2024 District 6 Farm and Ranch Family of the Year at OKFB’s 2024 annual meeting.
