Ag Economy Barometer: Farmer sentiment following the election reached highest levels since 2021

The Ag Economy Barometer out of Purdue University was released today, showing the highest farmer sentiment levels since May of 2021.

Farmer sentiment jumped 30 points to 145 in November, marking the highest levels in more than two years, and it follows the recent U.S. election. A majority of producers surveyed shared they expect a more favorable tax environment and less restrictive environmental regulations for agriculture as a result.

CME’s Fred Seamon joined RFD-TV’s Suzanne Alexander for a more in-depth breakdown of the survey.
