Amber Greiman

A walk through the barns at the Iowa State Fair isn’t just a look at the cute lambs in their little covers, or watching the cattle rest in the wood shavings. If you look a little deeper, it provides a little peek into the lives of the people who bring the animals to show. Amber Greiman’s role in all of this gives her a unique perspective from two complimentary vantage points: as Superintendent of the FFA Breeding Sheep Show, her duties include preparation and running of the entire event. But as an ag teacher, she also spends much of her time helping her students learn the ropes of raising and showing livestock, skills which most of them will put into practice as participants in the very same sheep show that she manages.
