Veterinarians from across the nation will gather on Capitol Hill this week to discuss policy priorities with lawmakers.
The American Veterinary Medical Association will hold its annual legislative fly-in, and attendees are planning to advocate for the Rural Veterinary Workforce Act. The president of that group says more needs to be done to attract and retain vets in rural and underserved areas, and that this Bill will go a long way to address those needs.
