Some beef market analysts are starting to question consumer demand, hinting it may be stronger than previously believed.
Analysts with DTN point to a couple of different areas. They found choice cuts are well above the five-year average this year, and they also say beef processing speeds have increased over the last couple of weeks.
Chain speeds had been slower this year, but hit more than 600,000 head just last week.
