Biodiesel is beneficial to human health. That is according to research by Clean Fuels Alliance America.
The study showed replacing diesel fuel with biodiesel in Washington DC alone could reduce asthma incidents by 13,000 a year and lost work days per year could be reduced by almost 6,000, which represents nearly $1.5 million dollars in economic activity.
Overall, the economic benefit of improved health in the city would total more than $262 million dollars each year.
