The House passes the Renewable Fuel Standard Integrity Act in the clean energy package, bringing transparency to the EPA’s small refinery exemption process. The move is set to ensure refiners meet blending requirements moving forward.
Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor spoke with RFD-TV News on what this legislation means for the nation’s biofuel sector and the benefits that are expected moving forward.
“This is a very positive step forward for us because after years of EPA mismanagement, this act will finally give farmers, and biofuel producers a long overdue peek at EPA’s very secretive and destructive process,” according to Skor.
