The Dickson County hog-showing team from right here in middle Tennessee is made up of high school FFA students who are passionate and dedicated to their hog production projects. The students purchase their pig at a young age and then raise and train it for the show! The team travels around the state competing in showmanship and market competitions. Once the season is over, the students can sell their project to the community and then use the funds to start over again for the next go around.
