Colorado state lawmakers pass Right-To-Repair bill

The first ag right-to-repair law in the nation made it through the Colorado state legislature.

The Consumer Right to Repair Agricultural Equipment Act would require manufacturers to share access to all materials needed by farmers and independent shops to fix tractors, combines, and other machinery.
Colorado is on the brink of passing this legislation even after the American Farm Bureau signed memorandums of understanding with John Deere and CNH Industrial.

Governor Jared Polis has less than ten days to decide whether to sign the bill into law. Eleven other states have introduced similar legislation.
