RFD-TV’s Corryn La Rue reports that the Corona Relief Bill is in its third round of negotiations and may be signed by the end of the day Wednesday.
The nearly $2 trillion relief plan will give $50 billion to the USDA for supporting the ag sector. Funds will help rural America in areas like broadband, telehealth and rural healthcare programs. If the House and Senate do not agree on the bill, they will end up in conference which will only further delay support.
Republican Senator John Hoeven of North Dakota had this to say: “I urge my colleagues to get on board and support our farmers, our ranchers and our food supply. Support rural America; quit objecting to rural America; quit objecting to our farmers and ranchers.”
