Cotton is harnessing the power of Olympic athletes!

The Cotton Board has brought on Olympic athlete Suni Lee to highlight the importance of this essential fabric.

U.S. farmers and ranchers are some of the hardest working people in the world, and to help promote their accomplishments, the Cotton Board has brought on Olympic athlete Suni Lee to highlight the importance of this essential fabric.

“Cotton Incorporated has just come out with a new advertising program that involved Suni Lee, the gymnast, that is done so well at the Olympics in the last week. She has signed an agreement with this, and then there’s promoting cotton closed for U.S., and you know we we were pretty excited to see a lot of the athletes wearing cotton during some of the opening ceremonies and stuff. So there’s a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes, but absolutely we’ve got got to promote this cotton and gotta get people to to realize what they’re buying and to look at the labels and make sure that it’s a quality fabric,” said Travis Mires.

Myers spoke recently at an industry meeting, telling the crowd is it crucial for more young producers to get into the business.
