Nashville, Tenn. — Country artist Becca Bowen is embracing her roots and starting the year strong with the release of her brand new EP Country Line available today, January 26, 2024. Featuring three new original songs alongside previous singles “Son of A Gun,” “If I’m Being Honest” and the title track “County Line” Becca is positioning herself as a female to watch in the country genre and beyond. With the up-beat, opening track, “I Choose Me,” Becca sets the tone with her signature brand of self-empowerment and whimsy for life. On the sultry focus track, “Baby Lie To Me” Becca highlights her powerful vocal and an edgier side her bubbly persona then showcasing a softer side with “On To The Next Ride” that reveals a deeply personal and tenderhearted storyline close to Becca’s heart.
Throughout the EP, the South Carolina native creates a world in which her musical prowess shines on all 6 co-written tracks. Her most personal project to date, the EP places Becca at the height of her career as she takes on 2024 packed with more shows, appearances and exciting new ventures.
After shaking up media headlines in 2023 with the release of “Son Of A Gun” exclusively on People Country, Becca since released the accompanying music video which highlighted the true-life story behind the song. On Thursday, January 25 she teamed up with People Magazine to premiere the video for “If I’m Being Honest” which is available to watch now. Mixing her glamorous, Southern Belle exterior with her bold and outdoorsy personality, Becca welcomes the juxtaposition of her look and personality, as showcased in the authenticity of her music.
In 2020, Bowen released her debut single, “Love It, Leave It,” and was invited to compete in the Outdoor Channel’s popular reality show, For Love or Likes. She was named the winner of Season 5 in 2021, garnering a rapidly growing following and fanbase online, all eager for more music from the emerging star.
With the release of her debut album, Like You’ve Never Been Loved, in 2022 she laid the foundation for hit singles “If I’m Being Honest” and “Son Of A Gun” which received support from the likes of Perez Hilton, CMT, Whiskey Riff and more, showcasing Becca’s innate ability to relate to listeners in all phases of life. Her talent for entertaining was also highlighted in 2023 as she guest starred as the lead role opposite Chuck Wicks’ in the first of its kind live show, Shiners, which combines cirque, comedy and of course moonshine for a night of fun. Becca additionally headlined shows and festivals across the U.S., opening for Colt Ford, and performing at Nashville’s beloved Whiskey Jam. With her momentum at an all time high, Becca is hitting her stride and shows no signs of slowing down.
