In times of crisis, Americans often come together with a genuine spirit of generosity. This past March, we watched as pastures and acreage from Texas to Kansas were destroyed by wildfires. But you may have missed how farmers and ranchers in Michigan organized several convoys to take hay, fencing, feed and more to the fire-ravaged area. The short film, “Loads of Hope – Fire in the Flint Hills and Ag Community Relief’s Response,” captures this story and the selfless Americans who responded to the crisis.
Their generous acts resulted in the formation of a non-profit organization called Ag Community Relief. Their mission is to bring relief to active farmers and ranchers that experience devastation across the United States by assembling volunteers and donations to help mitigate their suffering.
