Lawmakers are working hard to get everything finished before this session of Congress is over. However, some like Kansas Senator Jerry Moran say they are frustrated with the lack of progress.
“Disgust and dissatisfaction about our inability to do an appropriation bill for 2025 in this committee, in this session, before the end of the year. And it seems one more time, we’re going to fail to have that opportunity because of decisions made elsewhere. And I’m fearful that in this instance of this disaster program, that, once again, this will be shuffled off to somebody else, and not the Appropriations Committee, to complete the details.”
Other lawmakers back Moran’s frustrations, but groups like Farm Bureau say they will remain on the Hill, pushing lawmakers to get some relief to America’s farmers and ranchers.
