The 77th annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year program announced its eight district farm families, representing the diverse scope of Arkansas agriculture, the state’s largest industry.
Strap and Leigh Anne Brents of Conway County, one of the finalist families, were chosen as the Western District Farm Family of the Year. They raise cattle and poultry and grow hay on 700 acres. They also have two children, Kolton and Audie.
Judges will visit farms to determine the Arkansas Farm Family of the Year, which will be announced on Dec. 13.
