Now, you can buy more than coffee and snacks in vending machines! Farmers are using the tech to sell their fresh foods. According to The Spoon, it is a trend that became popular during the pandemic on farms across Europe.
In England, hundreds of visitors each week go to Milk Churn dairy farm to get a refill on their milk. A one-touch machine dispenses the fresh milk into a jug provided by the farm. Customers that buy fresh milk from the dispenser can even add different flavored syrups too!
And farmers in France are using the technology to sell fresh produce! The French company, Le Casier, makes special temperature controlled vending machines that can keep eggs, fruits, and veggies fresh.
