“Farmall Century,” illustrates the evolution & design of the iconic tractor as it reaches a major milestone

Author Lee Klancher joined RFD-TV’s Market Day Report to discuss a new, special edition version of his book, “Farmall Century” hitting the shelves in honor of the iconic tractor’s major milestone and impact on the ag industry over the last century.

Author Lee Klancher’s latest agricultural book, “Farmall Century” is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the revolutionary Farmall Tractor, providing an authoritative, model-by-model history of the Farmall to illustrate its evolution and design since it first hit the market in the early 1900s.

In a conversation with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander this Thursday on Market Day Report, Klancher discussed the huge impact that the “most significant farm tractors of the 20th century,” has had on the agriculture industry as well as the exciting, new special edition version of his book published by Octane Press to celebrate the iconic machinery’s major milestone.

RFD-TV has partnered with a handful of agricultural social media influencers whom we have dubbed The New Crop. These folks have taken to the internet to tell their stories and to raise awareness of where our food comes from and all that goes into feeding the world population.
The goal of “Where the Food Comes From” is as simple as its name implies — host Chip Carter takes you along on the journey of where our food comes from — and we don’t just mean to the supermarket (though that’s part of the big picture!). But beyond where it comes from, how it gets there, and all the links in the chain that make that happen.
