Canadian Pacific Railway has halted operations and locked out workers after they failed to reach a labor deal. It is expected to disrupt the shipment of key commodities at a time of soaring prices.

Fertilizer Canada’s President & CEO, Karen Proud, spoke with RFD-TV’s Janet Adkison about their biggest concerns with the strike, how much fertilizer in Canada is moved by rail, what ripple effects could the strike have for farmers as spring planting kicks off and if there are any efforts underway to ease the situation.
