Riley Green has been a slow simmer since he came onto the scene in 2013.

Born in Jacksonville, Alabama on October 18, 1988, Riley’s early years saw him as a quarterback for Jacksonville State University. After a time spent on the reality TV show Redneck Island, he would release his debut, self-titled EP in 2013. However, when 2018 rolled around he signed a deal with Big Machine and then the world truly first heard him.

Since then, he has become one of country music’s biggest names, a platinum-selling artist, and a big heartthrob.

Here are some of our favorite Riley Green songs!

“Bury Me In Dixie”

One of the easiest ways for an artist to let their audience know more about you is to sing about where you’re from.

“Wish Grandpas Never Died”

Co-written by Riley and the third single from his debut album, Different Round Here. There is not a dry eye in the room when he plays this song.

“You Look Like You Love Me” duet with Ella Langley

For some, this song sent both Riley and Ella Langley into the mainstream ears. You have not been able to escape this song in 2024.

“Numbers on the Cars”

When songs tackle real subjects, they just hits differently.

“Jesus Saves”

“It’s hard to see all that when you’re drivin’ by / So I just write down ‘Jesus Saves’ / Cause there ain’t no way I can fit that on a sign”
