A farm in Wisconsin says it will convert waste into renewable biofuel.
The $20 million facility at the Dairyland Farm will use new technology to convert manure into renewable diesel and jet fuel. The company hopes to have the biofuel facility up and running by January.
This comes as the U.S. faces its lowest level of diesel supplies in decades, with retail prices expected to jump as much as $0.20 a gallon in the coming week.
