We have been showing you the celebrations of National Ag Week at our nation’s capitol, but Tennessee’s governor, Bill Lee, who is a farmer himself, rolled up his sleeves to celebrate Ag Day too.
The ag community gathered on “The Hill” in Nashville.
Gov. Lee kicked off the day with a proclamation, recognizing how much farmers provide, and then got right to work.
He posted a picture to Twitter stating, “It’s not every day that you get to milk a cow outside the TN Capitol. Enjoyed putting some old skills to use during another legenDAIRY Ag Day on the Hill.”
