On the evening of Tuesday, April 23rd, “Hee Haw” star Lulu Roman suddenly passed away at the age of 78.

Lulu’s resume stretches far beyond the iconic TV show: in addition to her fame as an actress, she was also a country and gospel music artist, a comedian, and an author.

She was born in Dallas, Texas, on May 6, 1946. Her career saw multiple albums and her induction into the Country Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
