Honor, tradition, and service will be on full display at the Rose Parade thanks to this mounted unit

Celebrate New Year’s with RFD-TV and the 136th Rose Parade presented by Honda!

We are excited to showcase a group that is a part of our country’s Armed Forces.

The United States Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard is a symbol of honor, tradition, and service. As the last remaining mounted unit in the Marine Corps, this elite group rides palomino mustangs adopted through the Bureau of Land Management’s “Adopt A Horse and Burro Program.”

Clad in thier iconic dress blue uniforms and equipped with black McClellan saddles adorned with the eagle, globe, and anchor, they carry the American and Marine Corps flags with pride.
