Justin Wilson Eazy Cookin’ Fried Oysters

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Servings: 4-6

Ingredients

  • Peanut oil
  • 3 dozen shucked oysters
  • 2 cups of corn flour
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon celery powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Cayenne pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Fill a deep fryer three-quarters full with peanut oil and heat to 350 degrees. Drain the oysters and place on paper towels to dry.
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Dredge the oysters in dry ingredients, knocking off any excess.
  3. Fry each dredged oyster in the hot oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  4. Serve immediately.
