On the next, all-new episode of FarmHER, host Kirbe Schnoor and the crew visit Salinas, California, known as the “Nation’s Salad Bowl,” to meet up with fifth-generation produce FarmHER Kate Hitchcock.
The Salinas Valley produces half the nation’s broccoli and cauliflower. Kate’s operation focuses on sweet baby broccoli, a newer specialty crop variety.
The FarmHER crew caught up with Kate and her team in the middle of the harvest season.
