Ashley Cooke is a Florida native who made the move to Nashville at 18 to pursue a music career, and she has since performed at both the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium.
Lainey Wilson recently revealed an unexpected surprise to Cooke: that she was the iHeartCountry On The Verge Artist.
Cooke, left speechless, responded to Wilson, “Dude, thank you for telling me, too. It means a lot coming from you.” Wilson told Cooke that holding this honor was one of the biggest turning points in her life and that it changed it all.
