Let’s head to the Nashville Farmers Market and check out the Turnip Green Festival

There was a lot of green at the Nashville Farmer’s Market this past weekend! It was the 26th year of the Turnip Green Festival.

Complete with Troy Smiley’s famous cast iron cauldron of braised greens. Stirring the pot was Tom Wiseman, who says that he uses ham hocks and other cured pork to flavor these greens.
