Loretta Lynn makes appearance at CMA Awards

At 87-years-old Loretta Lynn was in the crowd at the CMA Awards. Lynn watched as the opening number featured all female vocalists performing her hit “You’re Looking at County.”

Lynn has been making limited public appearances she suffered a stroke in 2017 and broke her hip in 2018.

“I had the best time at CMA Country Music Association Awards last night. It was so good to see so many of my friends,” Lynn posted on Instagram along with a picture with Willie Nelson. “I loved catching up with my buddy Willie Nelson!”

Lynn took home Female Artist of the Year honors at the first CMA Awards in 1967 and in 1972, she was the first woman to receive Entertainer of the Year honors.
