Country music legend, Loretta Lynn suffered a stroke and is recuperating in a Nashville-area hospital. The 85-year-old icon, known worldwide as the “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” had the stroke at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee on Thursday night (May 4).

Lynn had been scheduled to perform multiple shows in May and fans are encouraged to check her website for more information.
Her sister, Crystal Gayle also issued a statement via social media and other stars tweeted their love and support.
