Loretta Lynn Suffers Stroke

Country music legend, Loretta Lynn suffered a stroke and is recuperating in a Nashville-area hospital. The 85-year-old icon, known worldwide as the “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” had the stroke at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee on Thursday night (May 4).

American country music legend Loretta Lynn was admitted into a hospital in Nashville Thursday night after she suffered a stroke at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. She is currently under medical care and is responsive and expected to make a full recovery. Loretta, who just celebrated her 85th birthday, has been advised by her doctors to stay off the road while she is recuperating. Regrettably, upcoming scheduled shows will be postponed.

Lynn had been scheduled to perform multiple shows in May and fans are encouraged to check her website for more information.

Her sister, Crystal Gayle also issued a statement via social media and other stars tweeted their love and support.
