This year on Market Day Music, we had a long list of exclusive interviews and music performances by the hottest and up-and-coming country music artists. In celebration of the New Year, approaching, we decided to compile a playlist of the performances you loved most. It is our own version of a “Wrapped!”
Jenna Paulette grew up working on her family’s ranch on the Oklahoma-Texas border. Her passion for agriculture can be heard in her debut album, released earlier this year. She came by to talk with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about time on the ranch with her grandfather, her upcoming Opry debut, and the true meaning of hard work. Ashley Ryan is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who is putting a modern twist on classic country. The California native has garnered millions of streams since making the move to Music City. He has been awarded the Top Selling Canadian Album for his sophomore release Honkytonk Revival. He spoke to RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander to talk about his upcoming song, “Rodeo Queen” which comes out this Friday, his time on the farm, and what is next for him. Grant Gilbert is a singer-songwriter who was raised on a cattle ranch in rural Texas, a population of 300 to be exact. He has since made his way to Nashville, combining his love of country music with blue-collar rock. He stopped by the Roy Rogers Studio to talk with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about his time on the ranch, his backing, and new music he has released. He just finished his first national tour across Canada as an opener for Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line.
