National Corn Growers Association is visiting lawmakers in DC and celebrating women in agriculture!

A strong ag presence has been felt in DC this week, with many ag leaders in attendance to celebrate ag on the National Mall!

The National Corn Growers Association was there visiting with lawmakers and even hosting a Women In Ag Celebration!

Representative Angie Craig of Minnesota shared a photo on X captioning it:
“Great to join the National Corn Growers Association for their Women In Agriculture Celebration this evening to recognize the essential role women play in American agriculture— working as farmers, producers, business owners, and more.”

NCGA is also set to host a Women and Mentors Program this summer, inviting women in the industry to grow their leadership skills and get more involved in associations at the state and national level.
It will be taking place June 27th and 28th in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ray and his band Asleep at the Wheel has had a more than 50 year career in the music industry and over the years have earned nine Grammy Awards. The program also will feature guest performers such as Pat Green, Stoney LaRue and Kelly Willis.
